The mission of Tri-State Community Health Center is to improve lives by providing high quality health care to everyone in the community regardless of ability to pay. Tri-State currently serves approximately 16,000 community members.  Patients come primarily from Washington and Allegany counties in Maryland, Morgan County West Virginia, and Fulton County Pennsylvania.

An important objective of Tri-State Community Health Center is to ensure that all members of the community, including people with low or no incomes and those who do not have health insurance have access to comprehensive primary care services. To help achieve this objective, the health center operates a discount program for eligible patients. This discount program is sometimes referred to as our “sliding fee scale” because the amount a low-income patient pays for the services they receive varies or slides based on their current income level and family size. No one is ever denied service at Tri-State due to an inability to pay.
